Dr. Senehi is the founder of Facial & Oral Surgery Institute in Southern California. He is a dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, DDS, MD, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Senehi has extensive training in administering various levels of anesthesia in an outpatient setting. He founded the FOS Institute to offer his patients superior services with the most technological advancements in the field.
His professional vision was realized with the opening of his new state of the art facility where he provides a multi-disciplinary approach to reconstruction of the face and jaws including facial plastics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea, as well as TMJ Disorders. The Facial & Oral Surgery Institute is also the premier center for training associated healthcare professionals in various surgical procedures and the latest techniques.
Dr. Senehi attended the distinguished Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC where he earned his DDS degree after completing his undergraduate education at UCLA for a Bachelor of Science. He obtained his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He also received extensive training in anesthesiology through the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Hospital, one of the most prestigious programs in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Senehi has received multiple awards throughout his career, including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology Recognition Awards from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, Academic Chief of Alpha Omega Dental Organization Recognition Award, Association of Professors and Scholars of Iranian Heritage Recognition Award, Dean’s Honors List at UCLA and Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr. Senehi is a recent grant recipient from Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Science and Education Foundation, which provided an opportunity for him to complete a Surgical Rotation at Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva, Israel. This experience allowed him to expand his clinical knowledge, surgical skills and become familiar with different perspective theories and techniques in the field.
Recently, he was honored by having been voted one of “America’s Top Dentists of 2015”. As the founder of Facial & Oral Surgery Institute, Dr. Senehi’s mission is to provide the most optimal care through excellent communication with patients, and comprehensive discussion of treatment options. Specializing in procedures that are not only innovative, but unique is quickly establishing him as one of the authority figures in his field.
